Who Processes Refunds

Northstar purchases are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (or its affiliates) as our merchant of record. Refunds, cancellations, and charge-related requests are handled in accordance with Paddle’s consumer terms.

Your Right to Cancel (14 Days)

If you are a consumer and unless the below exception applies, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days starting the day after the date of purchase (“cooling-off period”) without giving any reason. If you cancel as permitted, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount you paid for that purchase.

For subscription services, this cancellation right is only present following the initial subscription and not upon each automatic renewal.

This cancellation right does not apply where the relevant exception applies (for example, for digital content once it has been accessed, downloaded, or streamed, or for services once they have begun with your prior consent and acknowledgement that you will lose the right to cancel).

When a refund is due under the cooling-off right, Paddle will reimburse you within 14 days of being informed of your decision to cancel, using the same payment method you used for the original transaction (unless you agree otherwise).

Subscriptions and Cancellations

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. If you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period and will not renew for the next period.

To avoid being charged for a renewal, Paddle’s policy requires you to submit your cancellation request at least 48 hours before the end of the current billing period. Paddle does not provide refunds for unused portions of a subscription period.

Refund Requests Outside the Cooling-Off Right

Outside the cooling-off period (or where the cooling-off right does not apply), Paddle may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis and may refuse a refund where it reasonably believes the request is abusive, fraudulent, or otherwise not in good faith.

To request a refund or cancel a subscription, please contact Paddle support via paddle.net. Please include the email address used for purchase and any receipt/order reference shown on your Paddle confirmation.
